Goal: to increase strength and lift my own body weight by the time I reach 50!
I have been seeing Liv for just over a year and feel great. I'm 50 next year and wanted to try and firm everything up before it was too late. Liv is realistic and flexible and has built a program around what suits my body/injuries and the things I enjoy. It's not an expensive luxury as I usually only see Liv once every 2 or 3 months when my program needs changing. Since I have no gym membership and I now only exercise at home Livia designed a weights programme that I do three times a week on my landing! She has lent me some home exercise equipment, which cuts down greatly on cost. Livia seems to adapt to clients need very well. I find Liv encouraging and enthusiastic without being too pushy and would feel very comfortable recommending her to my friends.

Goal: improve posture and lose body fat.
I have been working with Livia for over 2 years and continue to see huge improvements in my strength, tone and posture. Because Livia is constantly changing my personal programme, the workout is never boring and we can concentrate on different problem areas as needed. In the early months, I had considerable overall weight loss; now my weight has stabilised but my body fat has significantly reduced. Another longer-term gain has been a permanent change in my posture which friends have commented on.
In the early days I was more careful with my diet, cutting down on carbohydrates, dairy and alcohol and eating more raw and fresh foods. Now I find my body has adjusted to better eating habits and I can have treats but tend to limit them - e.g. alcohol in moderation at weekends. Because of the decrease in body fat and increase in muscle my body is now more efficient so I burn extra calories more readily.
I rely on Livia to keep changing and stretching my programme and now find I am lifting weights far beyond what I thought I could, but I still have a feminine shape, which is what Livia tries to achieve for her ladies.
With Livia's Body Sculpting workout I have really started to see a big difference in just a few months. She knows how to get the best results for women wanting fitness and toning, without looking too muscular. I would definitely recommend her.

Goal: lower body fat loss
The decision to have a personal trainer was deliberate because I had problem areas such as hips and bum and for years worked out, not excessively, but to a consistent level. I had a fit and efficient heart but chunky thighs and bum. I had hit 40 and had to revise my plan. I wanted a personal trainer who understood a woman’s body.
I had heard about Livia from a friend and when I met her, I was convinced she was a personal trainer! She had a lean, toned body but not emaciated. We set up a meeting. She spoke my language which was fat reduction, using sensible workout that targeted the problem areas and fit into my lifestyle, likes and dislikes.
9 months on, I have seen results in a more toned and defined body. My thighs are shapelier and the fat is melting. I still have some way to go, but Livia’s programme has been a step in the right direction. The combination of steady heart rate cardio vascular work out and weights is working for me.
As a mother of two pre-teenage children the regime from Livia has given me a purpose and has allowed me to mix a good exercise routine with sensible eating (not diet!). Keeping fit is a commitment which I always had but now I have started seeing some results, I intend to carry on.

Over the years I have been on various diets – they were not working. Yes, maybe one month I might lose 7lbs only to find in three months time I would be up by at least 6 of them!
We have a hairdressers and one of our clients was telling me about one of her friends who was being trained by Livia from Fit Freedom...how great she was starting to look. In my initial meeting with Livia, she told me it would be no quick fix as it took me years to get to what I was!
I am not into running, so for me the programme was perfect. Livia told me to buy an exercise bike and wear a heart rate monitor so I knew when my body was burning fat. It surprised me that I didn’t have to peddle like a lunatic and actually love the stationary bike as I can watch TV whilst exercising! I started at 15 minutes three times per week and gradually built up to an hour three times per week, which is easy as you are not on a high setting.
Livia was constantly in contact with me and after three weeks we arranged to meet in the gym where Livia explained that we needed to add weight training to change my body shape and tone me up, as muscle burns more fat! Livia changes my programme every three months to make sure I get the most out of my training.
I have now been training for eight months and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Everybody’s been telling me how much weight I have lost. I have even been told I look much younger! I feel fantastic! I no have longer have a big roll of fat hanging over my trousers and I eat double the amount I used to eat! I’m really toned on my arms and legs and my tummy is slowly, but surely, disappearing.
